Senior Coastal Engineer/Geologist

Tara Brenner holds the unique credential of being both a Professional Engineer and Professional Geologist. Since 2007, she has performed a variety of services in support of beach nourishments using offshore and upland sand sources, inlet dredging, sand searches and other coastal management projects. She is experienced in leading feasibility studies, permitting, engineering and geotechnical analyses, development of construction plans and specifications, construction observations, and post-construction monitoring. Ms. Brenner also has experience with the application of drone and laser scanning technologies to supplement or replace in situ observations and enjoys supporting local government clients in communicating technical results to the public and securing project funding.
