Coastal Protection Engineering LLC (CPE) is a forward-thinking coastal engineering firm founded in 2019 for the direct purpose of serving coastal communities with beach restoration and coastal protection expertise. We support government clients and waterfront communities with projects that restore, manage, and protect coastal resources and upland infrastructure. Our professionals have provided consulting services to a wide range of clients in coastal areas with a comprehensive understanding of overall program management, including beach nourishment, dune restoration, coastal processes, inlet programs, waterway maintenance, coastal structures, storm impacts, funding opportunities, intergovernmental coordination, and the environmental protection.
What We Do
Our range of client service offerings provide the full spectrum of expertise needed for coastal projects such as engineering design, beach program management, inlet management plans, feasibility assessments, numerical modeling of coastal processes, marine geology, environmental assessments, and funding assistance. We carry projects from conception through state and federal permitting, NEPA requirements, project bidding and construction oversight, permit compliance, biological and physical monitoring, and post-project performance tracking.
